VERBALIST! is the lockdown brainchild of West Midlands-based poet and The Courtesy Group's founder and frontman-Al Hutchins (described by Stewart Lee in The Sunday Times as "a howling faggot-and-pea-fuelled visionary") and his gifted storyteller wife Maria Victoria Nimmo: it is a kaleidoscopic weekly Facebook Live eclectic melee of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, banterings and ranterings, replete with interactiviy in the form of quizzes, competitions and creative writing opportunities.

 

VERBALIST! has snowballed into nearly sixty episodes to date and this unique Stafford gig is the very first time VERBALIST! has 'gone live' in the third dimension-poetry/prose, fiction and non-fiction requests can be made by emailing blackcountrywordwizards@gmail.com with the subject line-'VERBALIST!'
